Fair to occasionally cloudy skies, breezy conditions will persist across SVG within the next few days In addition, slight Saharan dust haze concentrations will also be noticeable across our islands during this forecast period. The chance of a few scattered showers increases mainly from Sunday night into Monday as occasional weak pulses cross our islands.
Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. Wind speeds should gradually increase into Monday. Consequently, seas are moderate to rough in open waters with northerly swells peaking at 1.8m on the western coasts and near 2.7m on the eastern coasts. Seas could further deteriorate (2.0m to 3.0m) as the new week begins. Only vessels capable of withstanding swells of these magnitudes should venture out. Sea-bathers are also advised to stay out of the water.
