The Atlantic high pressure system will continue to dominate the weather conditions as the new week unfolds. The chance of showers along with slight haze is likely early Sunday as  shallow cloud patches cross the island chain. Fair to partly cloudy skies are expected on Monday and Tuesday under breezy conditions

Moderate to fresh (~25-35 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands with an increase (~30-40 km/h) in speeds from late Sunday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.2 m on the western coasts and near 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Generally moderate conditions are expected by late Sunday. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should continue exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
