The weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines continues to be under the control of the central Atlantic high pressure system. As a weak low level trough moves across the islands, a southeasterly flow behind the axis of this trough will transport some low level moisture from the equatorial regions across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines tonight.

Model guidance is signifying only a few scattered showers are likely as both mid to upper levels are relatively dry.  After which, the dominance of the Atlantic high pressure will result in mostly breezy conditions and partly cloudy skies with a chance for some scattered showers mostly to the south over the weekend.  By Monday, mostly breezy and fair conditions should be observed.

Brisk easterlies at 25km/h – 40km/h are forecast with generally moderate sea conditions (1.5m- 2.0m). Deterioration on the east coast may be experienced with swells peaking to 2.5m on Sunday and slight to moderate conditions on Monday (1.2m- 2.0m). No significant haze intrusion is forecast within this forecast period.
