A ridge pattern is dominant across the islands, allowing for fair to occasionally cloudy skies with brief isolated showers. The chance of light to moderate showers increases on Saturday as weak unstable conditions are anticipated.
Gentle to moderate (15-25km/h) south easterly trades are crossing our islands, increasing (~20-30km/h) by Thursday. Wind direction could shift to east north easterly by Saturday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking to 1.0m on the western coasts, and up to 1.5m on the eastern coasts. By Thursday, moderate sea conditions are likely by nightfall as windspeeds increase. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Saharan dust haze concentrations could increase on Thursday and thin out on Saturday.
