The Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant across our islands. Fair to occasionally cloudy skies can be expected within the next two days with sporadic shower activity. On Sunday, light wind speeds will instigate intermittent pockets of moderate showers as the upper level environment provides occasional support.

Moderate to fresh (~20 to 30km/h) easterly to east south-easterly trades are currently crossing our islands, shifting to east north easterly on Saturday. Light wind speeds are anticipated as Sunday progresses. Seas are moderate in open water with swells ranging between 1.5m to 2.0m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Sea conditions could improve from Saturday. In addition, Saharan dust haze concentrations should be visible into Friday, reducing in intensity for the remainder of the forecast period.
