Weather Discussion:
Unstable conditions continue to maintain occasional showers and isolated thunderstorm activity, as tropical waves cross the islands…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should should be alert…A temporary reduction in shower activity is likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during Sunday. Thin patches of Saharan dust could create slight-haze across our area at times.
Moderate-fresh (25 - 35km/h) northeasterly breeze across our islands could occasionally reduce to light-gentle (5 - 15km/h) over the weekend. Wind directions could vary between northeasterly and southeast in some locations.
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells near 1.0m(3ft) west of our islands and 1.8m(6ft) east of our islands. Swell heights could gradually fall to range 0.5m(1.5ft) - 1.2(4ft) across our islands during Sunday.
