The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to be the dominate feature across our islands. Patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow are likely to produce occasionally cloudy skies and showers during the next 36 hours.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave presently analyzed at 44 degrees west (1000 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines), is moving near 15 mph. This wave is expected across our area by Friday. At present, no significant convection is associated with the wave due to a dry mid-level atmosphere.
East North-east to East South-east trade winds ranging between 15km/h to 35 km/h should continue during the forecast period.
Moderate easterly sea swells are expected during the next 72 hours with swells peaking near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet)
Analysis also suggest a layer of Saharan dust haze moving into the area by late Saturday, the end of this forecast period.
