Weather Discussion:
Over the next couple days, a few showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms are likely across our islands. Patches of Saharan dust could create moderate/thick-haze across our area by Tuesday evening and thinning-out (slight/moderate) on Thursday…The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor an area of disturbance (50% chance of development) in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary…
Gentle-moderate (15 - 25km/h) breeze across our islands could increase near 30km/h during Wednesday and directions vary between north-easterly and east south-easterly in some locations. By Thursday evening, speeds decrease (< 10km/h) and turn southerly.
Sea conditions are smooth to slight in open water, with swells near 0.5m(1.5ft) west of our islands and near 1.2m(4ft) east of our islands. A slight rise in swell heights may be noticeable across our islands by Wednesday, ranging 0.5m(1.5ft) to 1.0m(3ft) west of our islands and nearing 1.5m(5ft) east of our islands.
