Warm conditions are anticipated across our islands into mid Sunday. By evening, instability associated with a tropical wave will begin to affect our islands. Models suggest showers could intensify along Monday accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms. Lingering instability could see additional activity occasionally along Tuesday. Residents are advised to stay tuned for updated information disseminated from SVG Meteorological Services. Watches and/or warnings may be issued in the upcoming days.

Gentle to moderate (~15-25 km/h) east south-easterly trades are crossing our islands. An increase (~25-35 km/h) in speeds is expected on Sunday with a temporary shift to east north easterly. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and near 1.5m on eastern coasts. Swell heights should begin to rise to generally moderate from Sunday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Saharan dust haze concentrations should begin to thin out across our islands on Sunday.
