 An area of disturbance associated with a tropical wave (40% chance of development) is approaching the Windward Islands. Cloud-cover could increase this (Sunday) afternoon, with showers, thunderstorms and occasional gusts across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by eveningResidents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be alertCloudiness with showers and thunderstorm activity are expected to decrease across SVG during Monday night.

Moderate-fresh (25 - 35km/h) breeze across our islands are likely to become fresh-occasionally strong (35 - 40km/h) during Sunday night and early MondayBe Aware! Wind directions could vary between north-easterly and south-easterly in some locations.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with occasional northerly swells ranging 0.5m(1.5ft) to 1.2m(4ft) west of our islands and near 1.8m(6.5ft) east of our islands. Swell heights are expected to rise tonight, nearing 1.5m(5ft) west of our islands and 2.5m(8ft) east of our islands on MondaySmall-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal swells and occasional gusty winds.
