Warm and slightly hazy conditions with interruptions of light showers will persist across Tuesday but by late evening, weak instability associated with a passing trough could trigger a few occasional showers overnight into Wednesday. On Thursday fair to occasionally cloudy conditions with isolated showers are likely. A weak tropical wave should begin to affect our islands by Friday evening.

Gentle to moderate (~15-25 km/h) easterly to east north-easterly trades are crossing our islands. A shift to east south easterly is expected on Wednesday and Thursday. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5m to 2.0m on eastern coasts during this forecast period. Saharan dust haze concentrations should begin to thin out across our islands as today (Tuesday) progresses.
