Weather Discussion:
Sunny conditions persist across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), but localized (isolated) showers and thunderstorms are possible across parts of St. Vincent. By Monday night/early Tuesday, weak unstable conditions could bring a few showers across SVG with thunderstorm activity possible towards evening. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean is being monitored for development (70% chance) and updates/advisories may be issued as necessary.
Light-gentle (less than 15km/h) winds across our islands create little cooling-effect. During Tuesday and Wednesday, wind speeds could occasionally increase (20 - 30km/h) and directions may vary between east northeast and east southeast in some locations.
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with northerly swells near 1.0m(3ft) west of SVG and ranging {1.2m(4ft) to 1.8m(6ft)} east of SVG…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for breaking wave action and rip currents.
