As the Atlantic High Pressure System steers an easterly wave/tropical wave across the southern Windward Islands, a few scattered showers can be expected by early Monday. Most of the shower activity is expected south of Grenada, but scattered showers and periods of rain could spread across SVG during Monday and into Tuesday morning.
The Atlantic High Pressure is expected to rebuild during Tuesday with hazy and breezy conditions returning, as moisture at the mid to upper levels give way to dry air and dust concentrations with PM2.5 levels reaching near 29µg/m3 and PM10 levels reaching near 45 µg/m3 by Tuesday night.
Moderate (20 - 30km/h) east north-easterly breeze are expected become fresh (30 - 40km/h) overnight, temporarily becoming gentle to moderate Monday afternoon with the passage of an easterly/tropical wave.
Mean sea-level pressure should range 1016-1018mb overnight into Monday, slightly dipping by afternoon as the tropical wave crosses the islands. Slight to moderate east north-easterly sea swells on east coasts can be expected to peak near 2.0m, while west coasts can expect slight sea swells between 0.6m and 1.2m over the next few days. Slight haze should thin out during Monday, to thicken again Tuesday into Wednesday.
