Weather Discussion:
Partly cloudy-occasional cloudy skies and a few showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) over the next few days. Patches of Saharan dust could create a film/slight-haze across our area at times.
The Atlantic High Pressure System is becoming dominant across our islands, pushing fresh-occasionally strong (30 - 40km/h) breeze across SVG, with directions varying between north-east and easterly in some locations.
Sea conditions across our islands vary from moderate to rough ranging from 1.5m(5ft) to 2.7m(9ft) in open water during today (Thursday) and tonight, as wind speeds vary…Small-craft operators and sea bathers should be prepared for above normal swells and occasional gusty winds…Swell heights are expected to gradually fall over the weekend, with swells ranging 1.2m(4ft) to 2.0m(6.5ft) across our islands by Sunday evening.
