The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominate feature across our islands. Occasionally cloudy skies, hazy conditions, along with a few passing showers can be expected during the next few days.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave presently located near 47 degrees west latitude ( approximately 970 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines), is moving westward near 15 mph. This wave is expected across our area on Monday, and is likely to produce an increase in showers and isolated thunderstorm activity.
Easterly wind ranging between 20 km/h to 35 km/h should continue during the forecast period.
Slight to moderate easterly sea swells are expected; peaking near 1.2 (4.0 feet) on the western coast, and near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet) on the eastern coast.
Analysis also suggests that a layer of Saharan dust haze would be moving over the islands later tonight and lingering into next week.
