Tonight, partly cloudy skies, hazy and breezy conditions can be expected. A tropical wave inches closer to the islands however, and moisture ahead of this wave may result in a few showers by day break.
Model guidance is indicating a moderate chance (60%) for some scattered showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines over the weekend due to this wave. In addition, model guidance is indicating some very strong embedded winds, and so breezy conditions will persist over the weekend. The heavier convection is forecast to be over Trinidad and Tobago and the Guianas.
Haze intrusion is to decrease slightly tomorrow, increasing again by Sunday into Monday. A drying out of the atmosphere is anticipated for Monday and some fair conditions may be experienced then.
East north east to easterly winds approximately 25km/h to 50km/h is forecast. Generally moderate sea conditions are likely with swells peaking to 2.5m on the east coast. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
