The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominate feature across our islands. Patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow are likely to produce occasionally cloudy skies and few brief isolated showers during the next 24 to 36 hours.

Thereafter, a tropical wave presently located near 53 degrees west latitude (approximately 550 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines), is expected to approach our area. Due to dry Saharan dust haze around the environment of the wave, showers are expected to be occasional, and light to moderate in intensity.

Easterly winds ranging between 20 km/h to 35 km/h are expected during the next 72 hours.

Slight to moderate easterly sea swells are likely; peaking near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet).

The above mentioned layer of Saharan dust haze is forecast to move over the islands by late tonight and linger into the next few days.

Additionally, another tropical wave located near 35degrees west latitude (approximately 1800 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines), is expected to approach our area by late Friday; the end of this forecast period.
