Moisture and unstable conditions across our islands resulted in occasional pockets of moderate to heavy downpours during the last 24 hrs. Similar conditions are likely tonight and tomorrow with cloudy skies accompanied by scattered showers and thunderstorm activity, as instability continues to linger.

Saharan dust haze in varying concentrations will persist over the islands during the forecast period.

Meanwhile, a tropical wave presently analyzed near 38 degrees west (1600 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines), is moving near 14 mph. This wave is expected across our area by Sunday. At present, no significant showers are associated with this wave due to dry Saharan dust haze.

Easterly winds ranging between 15 km/h to 40 km/h are expected during the next 72 hours.

Moderate 2.5 meters (8.0 feet) easterly sea swells are forecast however, a slight reduction in sea swells to near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet) is expected by Saturday.
