Models indicate 1 inch (25mm) rainfall accumulation possible by early morning across parts of St.Vincent and the Grenadines

Cloudy skies with occasional moderate to heavy showers and periods of rain may decrease temporarily Wednesday night, but a surface to low level shearline trailing the tropical wave is expected to generate cloudy skies with showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms across our area on Thursday. Shower activity should be reduced by Friday afternoon.
Moderate (20-30km/h) north-easterly trades overnight should increase to fresh (30-40km/h) by early morning, veering while decreasing to moderate east south-east winds during Wednesday and becoming gentle by evening. More easterly gentle to moderate breeze can be expected Thursday night, increasing and backing to fresh east north-easterly breeze Friday afternoon.
Barometric Pressure could range near 1012mb - 1014mb overnight, increasing slightly (1013mb - 1015mb) on Wednesday. Late Wednesday/early Thursday, a low pressure area could develop in the far eastern Atlantic which will be monitored.
Expect slight to moderate (1.0m – 1.5m) north-easterly swells across SVG, rising slightly on Friday to peak 1.5m on west and 2.2m on east coasts. No significant dust intrusion expected, but slight haze may reduce visibility on the horizon overnight and again on Thursday.
