Lingering moisture associated with the passage of a low level shearline will continue to produce cloudiness and light to moderate showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the next 6-12 hours. Thereafter, a gradual improvement in the weather conditions can be expected, as the Atlantic High Pressure System re-establishes itself across the islands.
By early Wednesday, an approaching weak surface to low level trough is expected to move over the southern part of the region. Occasionally cloudy skies and scattered showers are likely across SVG. Easterly to North-easterly winds ranging between 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph) are expected during the next 72 hours.
Moderate 2.5 meters (8.0 feet) easterly sea swells will continue during the next 24 - 36 hours. Small-craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution. A slight reduction in swells to near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet) is forecast by Wednesday.
No significant haze intrusion is expected during this forecast period.
