Mostly fair weather is expected across St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the next 24 to 36 hours, as the Atlantic high pressure system continues to be the dominate feature. However, patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow are likely to generate occasional isolated showers.

By Saturday, moisture and instability associated with an approaching shear-line will move over the Southern Windward Islands. As a result, cloudy skies accompanying light to moderate showers can be expected across our islands. A gradual decrease in shower activity is anticipated by early Sunday.

Easterly to North-easterly winds ranging between 15 to 35 km/h (9 to 22 mph) are forecast, however an increase to near 40 km/h (25 mph) is expected by late Saturday.

Slight to moderate easterly sea swells peaking near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet) will continue during the forecast period.

No Saharan dust haze is expected during the next few days.
