The Western Atlantic High Pressure system is dominant across our area; but a weak shearline feature lingers across the Northern Windward islands with few showers. This shearline feature could dip across the southern Windwards tonight. Meanwhile, moderate to fresh north-easterly breeze transporting cooler air from higher latitudes continues across the islands. A slight veer in wind direction could
be delayed to Friday, with few shallow showers possible across St.Vincent and the Grenadines as the shearline dips southward across the islands. Isolated showers are possible on Saturday… but, the chance for shower activity is minimal as expected at this time of year.
Slight to moderate seas (1.0 - 2.0m) are across SVG, but a slight rise in wave heights is expected on the east coasts this evening to possibly 2.5m by Friday.
Barometric readings should rise tonight to range 1016 - 1018mb for next few days.
No dust concentration is expected across our area until late Saturday. ….JMCD
