Marginal moisture increase at mid levels is expected overnight/early Tuesday, to support few showers associated with a weak lower-level shearline feature across some Windward Islands (including mainland St.Vincent) spreading towards the Grenadines by evening. Continued moisture increase at mid to upper levels during Wednesday could result in increased cloudiness with occasional showers
continuing into Thursday.
Moderate to occasionally fresh north-east trades should prevail tonight, decreasing by Tuesday afternoon to gentle/moderate breeze. Late Wednesday, a north-east shift in the Atlantic High Pressure could place our islands on its south-western edge with a veer in wind direction.
Slight to moderate seas (1.0 - 2.0m) originating from the east, are expected across SVG over next few days but northerly swells are possible by Thursday afternoon.
Barometric readings should range 1014 - 1016mb overnight rising slightly on Tuesday. A weakened Atlantic High Pressure could be sandwiched between two Low Pressure Systems on Wednesday with readings dipping to 1013 - 1015mb across our area with the High Pressure shifting north-eastward by Thursday.
Slight hazy conditions are due to dust concentrations across our islands, which should be thinning out on Wednesday. PM2.5 levels could be nearing 14µg/m3 and PM10 levels nearing 23µg/m3 tonight (especially across the Grenadine Islands)...JMCD
