Across our islands, a weak shearline is creating some moisture convergence with occasional cloudy skies, scattered light to moderate showers and periods of light rain. Moderate to occasionally fresh (25 – 40km/h) breeze from east north-east trade wind-flow is expected with slight veering by Tuesday.
Mariners are asked to exercise caution, as moderate sea conditions with north-easterly swells ranging 1.5 to 2.5m are across our islands. Wave heights are expected to gradually fall to range 1.2 – 1.8 on west coast and east coasts by late Wednesday.
Barometric readings should continue between 1013 - 1016mb, occasionally dipping to near 1011mb.
Fairly good visibility is expected across our islands over next couple days, with only slight haze possible Thursday.
