A High Pressure System is dominant across the Atlantic Ocean area, but couple weak trough/shearline features are along its southern edge propagating across the island chain. Cloudiness with shower activity should be decreased across our area by this evening, but a few scattered showers are expected again overnight into Sunday. By late Sunday, another weak trough should be approaching the islands bringing showers on Monday.
Brisk trade-winds and occasional strong gusts should continue from the east north-easterly with speeds between 25 and 45km/h. A temporary reduction is expected during Sunday, before wind speeds generally become moderate (20 - 35km/h) by Monday.
Moderate to rough sea conditions are across our islands and could be life threatening to small craft operators and sea bathers. North-easterly sea swells are peaking near 1.8m on west coasts and near 3.0m on east coasts of SVG, but should be retreating tonight into Sunday.
Barometric readings should range between 1015 and 1018mb, peaking near 1019mb on Sunday. Two low pressure areas could be deepening in the North Atlantic Ocean, causing the High Pressure to weaken by Monday with a weak trough across our area.
No significant dust concentrations are expected across our area over the next few days.
