Weak shearline/trough features along the southern edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System are propagating across the island chain. Over the next few days, these lower-level shearline/troughs are expected to cause some cloudy skies with periods of light rain and light to moderate showers accompanied by some gusty winds. Favourable conditions associated with an upper-level Jet-entrance region; could provide some enhancement to shower activity causing unstable conditions on Monday,
before shifting east of the islands on Tuesday. More showers and possible isolated thunderstorm activity can be expected by Tuesday night into Wednesday, as moisture converges at the lower to mid-levels with another trough.
A general reduction in wind-speeds is expected tomorrow Monday, with moderate (20 - 35km/h) breeze from the east north-easterly. A slight veer in direction to east south-easterly is expected on Wednesday.
Wave heights are falling and north-easterly sea swells should be peak no more than 1.0m on west coasts and near 2.2m on east coasts of SVG by late Monday.
Barometric readings should range between 1015 and 1018mb across our area. Two low pressure areas could be deepening in the North Atlantic Ocean by Monday, causing the Atlantic High Pressure to weaken as a shearline/trough crosses our area.
No significant dust concentrations are expected across our area over the next few days.
