A weak shear-line brought a narrow band of cloudiness with a few showers across the northern portion of mainland St.Vincent during the latter half of this afternoon. Cloudiness should be reduced by early morning (Thursday) and no significant shower activity is expected tonight. Another weak shearline/trough is now expected across the region by Thursday evening with a few scattered showers.
Thereafter, the Central Atlantic High Pressure should be re-establishing itself with lower-level moisture associated with shearlines on its southern edge lingering across our islands during the weekend.
Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 - 40km/h) east south-easterly breeze can be expected into Friday.
North-easterly sea swells should be range 0.6m to 1.2m on west coasts and peak near 2.0m on the east coasts of SVG over the next few days.
Barometric readings should range between 1012 and 1016mb across our area.
No significant dust concentrations are expected across our area over the next few days.
