A weak anti-cyclonic circulation ‘High Pressure’ is across the Western Atlantic just north of the island chain. The patch of dry Saharan dust caught in its circulation, is causing occasional slight haze and limited shower activity. Some thinning could allow for a few scattered showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on Sunday. Limited moisture ahead of a weak trough, on the southern edge of the High Pressure System should cross our area late Sunday into Monday morning. Trailing the trough axis, lower-level moisture could converge across our area with increased cloudiness and some showers late Monday

continuing on Tuesday.

East south-easterly gentle to moderate breeze are across our area. Wind speeds are increasing and moderate to fresh breeze can be expected during Sunday. Directions should vary between east north-east and east south-east late Monday with the passage of the next trough.

Slight to moderate sea conditions are expected over the next few days. Sea-swells should range 0.6m to 1.0m on the west coasts and 1.0m to 1.5m east coasts, originating from the east. Wave heights should be rising slightly, peaking near 1.2 on west coasts and near 1.8m on east coasts by Sunday night.

Barometric readings should range 1013mb and 1016mb across our area, rising slightly by Tuesday.

Thin patches of Saharan dust are occasionally reducing visibility with slight haze.
