The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to maintain brisk easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean Islands during the next few days.
However, by early Saturday, weak low level troughs on the southern periphery of the High Pressure System are expected to move across our area. Due to a dry and stable mid to upper-level atmosphere, showers across SVG are expected to be occasional, and light to moderate in intensity.
East north-easterly to Easterly winds ranging between 15 to 40 km/h (9 to 25 mph) are expected during the next 72 hours.
Moderate sea swells are forecast with swells peaking near 2.5 meters (8.0 feet). Small-craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
No significant Saharan dust haze is expected during this forecast period.
