The Atlantic High Pressure System will remain the dominate feature across our islands during the next 24 hours. As a result, occasional cloudy skies and a few brief passing showers can be expected.
However, by Thursday, a surface to mid-level trough is expected to approach our area and linger into late Friday. Due to dry Saharan dust haze around the environment of the trough, showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) are expected to be occasional, and light to moderate in intensity.
Easterly to North-easterly winds ranging between 15 to 35 km/h (9 to 22 mph) are forecast during the next 72 hours.
Moderate easterly sea swells peaking near 2.0 meters are likely.
The above mentioned layer of Saharan dust haze is forecast to move over SVG by late Thursday and persist for a few days.
