The Atlantic high pressure system has re-established itself across the islands. As a result, occasional brisk easterly winds can be expected across the Eastern Caribbean Islands. Due to a dry and stable atmosphere, showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) are likely to be limited, and light to moderate in intensity
Easterly to North-easterly winds ranging between 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph), are forecast during the next 72 hours.
Moderate 2.0 meters (7.0 feet) easterly sea swells will continue during the next 48 hours. However, an increase to 2.5 meters (8.0 feet) is expected by Monday.
The layer of Saharan dust haze which is presently reducing visibility across SVG, will persist into early next week.
