Mostly fair weather is expected across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during the next 24 to 36 hours, as the Atlantic high pressure system continues to be the dominate feature. However, patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow are likely to generate occasional isolated showers.
By Thursday, moisture and instability will move over the Southern Windward Islands resulting in cloudy skies and light to moderate showers.
Easterly winds ranging between 15 to 35 km/h (9 to 22 mph) are expected during the next 72 hours.
Slight to moderate easterly seas peaking near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet) will continue during this forecast period.
A thin layer of Saharan dust haze is forecast to move over SVG on Thursday and persist for a few days.
Additionally, the National Hurricane Center continues to issue advisories on Tropical Depression Andrea located over the Northwestern Atlantic. This system does not pose a threat to SVG.
