Haze is thinning out and should be cleared during Saturday as the next tropical wave approaches the islands. Moisture and showers should gradually increase towards evening, with instability peaking during the night/early morning Sunday. Mid to upper level features are expected to support showers and scattered thunderstorm activity. Shower activity should be decreased during Monday morning followed by a patch of Saharan dust

across the area with slight to moderate haze.

Another tropical wave is expected across the region by Wednesday with a few scattered showers.

Generally moderate to fresh breeze (25 – 40km/h) should continue tonight and on Saturday. Wind direction should be veering to south-easterly and reduce to light and gentle (less than 20 km/h) during Sunday. Wind speeds should increase again on Monday to moderate/fresh breeze (25 -40km/h).

Slight to moderate (1.2m - 2.2m) sea conditions are across our islands and should continue into the weekend. Barometric readings range 1016 - 1019mb, but should fall (1015 - 1018mb) during the weekend with the passage of the tropical wave.
