Lower level moisture ahead of a weak tropical wave is moving across the region with a few scattered showers. However the environment around its axis is relatively dry and expected to cross with little shower activity overnight into Thursday. Meanwhile, slight hazy conditions should be thinned with improved visibility.

A trough is expected across the Southern Windward Islands late Thursday followed by another tropical wave on Friday bringing scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorm activity.

The Atlantic High Pressure is expected to rebuild across our area by Saturday with hazy conditions, increased wind speeds and rising sea swells.

Moderate to fresh north-easterly breeze should increase tonight (up to 45 km/h). Wind directions should veer to east south east with occasional strong gusts behind the axis of the tropical wave late Thursday. North-easterly moderate to fresh trades should return during Friday into the weekend.

Slight to moderate (1.0 m - 2.0 m) sea conditions are across our islands in easterly swells and a rise in wave heights is expected on Thursday, to range 1.5 to 2.5 m.
