Unstable conditions associated with the passage of a weak low level trough will continue to produce cloudy conditions and shower activity across St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the next 6-12 hours.
Thereafter, an approaching tropical wave located over the Central Atlantic, moving near 20 mph (31 km/h), is expected across the Eastern Caribbean. This wave is projected to generate pockets of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorm activity across SVG, tomorrow through early Sunday. This will be followed by a gradual improvement in the weather conditions, as the Atlantic High Pressure System re-establishes itself across the islands.
East to East north-east winds between 15 km/h to 35 km/h (9 to 22 mph) are forecast to continue across our area.
Slight to moderate easterly seas ranging between 1.0 to 2.0 meters (3.0 to 7.0 feet) are expected during the next few days. Exercise caution due to reduced visibility in dust haze.
The layer of Saharan dust haze will continue to gradually reduce in concentrations. It is expected to move out of our area by early tomorrow.
