Tonight, conditions will remain mostly fair and hazy with the possibility of a few scattered showers as the night progresses. Mostly fair conditions are forecast for tomorrow as the ridge of high pressure establishes itself across the island chain.
However, this will be short-lived as a shearline approaches the islands around Monday. A few scattered showers are likely throughout the day, increasing towards evening. The ridge of high pressure will once again dominate on Tuesday and some fair conditions are likely around this time.
East to east north-easterly winds at 10km/h to 25km/h will persist varying on occasions from ENE-ESE throughout this forecast period. Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight (1m- 1.2m ) in open waters becoming moderate (1.8m) on the East coast around Tuesday as a deep layered ridge establishes itself across the island chain.
Haze is forecast to thin out by tomorrow, with another intrusion possible by Tuesday.
