A shearline is crossing the islands resulting in cloudy skies with slight hazy conditions, light to moderate showers and scattered thunderstorms possible tonight. Behind the shearline feature, a patch of Saharan dry air/dust is expected to move across the islands. However, a pool of lower-level moisture is expected across our area late Tuesday, ahead of the next tropical wave. The next tropical wave should cross our area by Wednesday, with moisture converging behind the axis during the afternoon
and into Thursday as the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) nudges northward.

Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 - 35 km/h) north-easterly breeze should continue tonight into Tuesday. A gradual reduction in speeds can be expected, with light breeze by Thursday afternoon.
Sea conditions across SVG should be increasing, to peak near 1.8 on east coasts by Tuesday afternoon before returning decreasing again. A patch of Saharan dry air/dust could reduce visibility and air quality tonight into Tuesday, possibly thinning out late Wednesday.

A tropical wave should emerge in the eastern tropical Atlantic between Africa and the Cabo Verde Islands in a few days. Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development, and there is a chance for tropical depression to form late this week/over the weekend while the system moves westward towest-north westward….will be monitored
A 1010 mb low pressure center has developed along a tropical wave near 15N28W west of the Cabo Verde Islands with scattered moderate convection from 10N-19N between 27W-32W. There is a high (80-90%) chance that a tropical depression could form during the next day or so while the system moves northwestward across the eastern tropical Atlantic Ocean....1980 miles away
