As the High Pressure System builds across the island chain, moderate to fresh (20-40km/h) easterly breeze are expected to increase, with occasional strong (40-50km/h) gusts by nightfall. Steady fresh to strong breeze are anticipated for Tuesday, gradually decreasing Wednesday afternoon as the next tropical wave moves into our area. Scattered showers could increase Wednesday night as the expected positioning of an upper level low could provide enhancement, resulting in showers, periods of rain and thunderstorm activity on Thursday. 

Visibility now reduced due to Saharan dust across the area, is expected to thin out by Wednesday. 

Sea swells expected to be moderate in open waters peaking near 2.0 m agitated by winds on open the ocean; could increase further on the east coast by Wednesday to 2.4m. The projected strengthening of Lee; and the position of Lee and Maria could cause swells to propagate southward.
