A ridge pattern will be the dominant feature across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the next 24hours. After which, a tropical wave will be approaching the islands.
Tonight, a light south-easterly wind flow can bring moisture across the Grenadines, resulting in a few brief isolated showers. Tuesday is forecast to be mostly fair and warm. A few afternoon showers are likely due to day time heating and the light wind regime. The tropical wave will generate a few showers around Wednesday night into Thursday. Model guidance indicates the presence of dry air near the wave and this can limit convection.
South easterly wind flow (10km/h-25km/h) will gradually become east to east north-easterly (E-ENE) from tomorrow evening into Wednesday and can increase in speed (10km/h-30km/h). Generally, seas will be slight to moderate in open water (1.0m-2.0m), deteriorating slightly on the east coast around Wednesday evening. Haze intrusion around Thursday can lead to a reduction in visibility.
