Instability lingers across the Central Windward Islands and a few showers are likely tonight across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Mid-upper levels could support showers Wednesday, increasing towards evening with isolated thunderstorms. Shower activity should be decreased across the Grenadines during Thursday and mainland during the night. A low level trough could bring more showers to our islands by Friday afternoon.

Gentle (10 - 20 km/h) east south-easterly breeze continues tonight,

increasing to moderate (20 – 30 km/h) and turning easterly by Thursday, then north-easterly by nightfall into Friday.

Northerly swells ranging 1.0 to 2.0 m are propagating towards our islands, from a Low Pressure area in the North Atlantic Ocean. As wind speeds increase, wave heights could be rising again Wednesday night with slight to moderate (1.0 - 1.5m) conditions on west coasts and moderate (1.5 - 2.5m) conditions on east coasts of SVG by Thursday. Rough seas are possible on east coasts late Friday before wave heights retreat during Saturday.
