Unstable conditions from a shearline will affect Saint Vincent and the Grenadines resulting in showers and isolated thunderstorms as the night progress. Such conditions will persist into tomorrow morning with an improvement likely by afternoon.
In addition, a tropical wave moving closer to the island chain is forecast to merge with a low level trough to affect Friday night into Saturday. The chance for showers and thunderstorm activity increases on Saturday.
A gentle to moderate east to east south easterly wind flow (E-ESE) at 15km/h to 25km/h is anticipated from tonight into tomorrow, becoming east to east north east (E-ENE) from Thursday night towards this forecast end.
Northerly swells will continue to result in a gradual deterioration of sea conditions on the east coast. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution as generally moderate conditions (1.8m-2.5m) are likely from tomorrow into Friday. There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
