Showers converged mainly across our Grenadine Islands and Grenada this morning. Slight haze and dryer atmosphere should gradually move towards St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by tonight. Ahead of the next tropical wave, a few showers are likely late Thursday, before haze clears Friday night with increased showers and thunderstorm activity likely into the weekend.
Moderate to fresh (25 – 40 km/h) north-easterly trades with occasional gusts should temporarily decrease to moderate breeze during Friday.
Wind directions should turn south-easterly late Friday as the tropical wave crosses the islands.
Moderate (1.5 – 2.5m) sea conditions are across SVG with easterly swells and conditions could become rough near high-tide times...Wave heights should temporarily retreat during Friday…Small-craft operators and sea bathers should exercise extreme caution for above normal sea-swells and occasional brisk winds.
