A few more shallow showers are likely later this afternoon into Saturday morning. Daytime heating coupled with light surface winds, could result in isolated thunderstorm activity Saturday afternoon.
The low pressure area is expected to cross the island chain during Sunday with scattered showers and trailing moisture during Monday.
Winds should decrease to gentle (10 – 20 km/h) north-easterly breeze tonight, becoming light and variable during Saturday, becoming calm by evening. South-easterly light breeze during Monday could turn easterly by evening.
Slight to moderate (1.0 – 1.5m) sea conditions with north-easterly swells are expected across our islands during Saturday, gradually dipping to slight (0.5 – 1.2m) by evening.
