An area of low pressure located over the Central Atlantic Ocean is several hundred miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands and will not be crossing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, but will continue on a north-westward, and then a northward track over the open Atlantic. A light south-easterly wind flow will develop across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as the night progress. Tonight, a brief increase in moisture at mid-level is likely to result in a few showers.
The chance of some scattered showers increases around Monday evening, as a south-easterly wind flow is forecast to bring moisture from the equatorial regions, generating scattered showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Mid to upper levels will become more favourable then and some scattered showers are likely also on Tuesday. On Wednesday, a shearline will be approaching the islands to affect by Wednesday night.
A light south-easterly flow will be experienced tonight into Monday, becoming mostly easterly and moderate (25km/h) on Tuesday, and then blowing from the north-east around Wednesday evening. Generally, slight sea conditions (0.5m-1.2m) will be observed until on Tuesday, when moderate conditions (1.5m) will return to the east coast. There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
