The surface to mid level Atlantic high pressure system is forecast to dominate the weather pattern across the island chain during the next 72 hours. Therefore, mostly fair to occasionally cloudy skies will be experienced, and the likelihood of some showers tonight and tomorrow morning as low level moisture move along with a moderate to fresh easterly wind flow.
The moderate to fresh (20km/h – 40km/h) easterly wind flow will prevail for the remainder of the week. Northerly swells peaking near 2.5m will continue to affect the east coast, slight (1.0m) to moderate (1.5m) will be observed on the west coast. Slight haze intrusion is possible within this forecast period.
