The Atlantic High Pressure System dominates across the region, with occasional showers as brisk winds push low-level clouds across the islands. A few showers are possible early morning Monday, associated with a weak low-level shearline across the Northern Windward Islands. As the shearline dips southward and lingers across our area, the chance for scattered showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) increases during Tuesday.
Moderate to occasionally fresh (25 – 40 km/h) north-easterly breeze and occasional gusts are expected, with a temporary increase (up to 50 km/h) possible during Tuesday night.
Slight to moderate (1.0 – 2.0 m) sea conditions with easterly swells are across our islands. Wave heights should be increasing, to range 1.8m to 2.7m late Tuesday…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution as swells could be above normal with brisk winds… Good visibility continues across SVG, with occasional thin-films of haze.
