The Atlantic High Pressure System is becoming less dominant, with a shearline/trough across the South-Eastern Caribbean. Most shower activity is south of mainland St. Vincent, across the Grenadines and concentrated near Trinidad. The broad shearline/trough could linger across the islands, triggering scattered showers. Instability and showers could increase across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) late Saturday, before the trough exits the region.
Fresh (30 – 40 km/h) east north-easterly breeze should gradually decrease, becoming moderate (20 – 30 km/h) by Thursday.
A turn to east south-east is expected during Friday, returning to east north-east with an increase to fresh again, by Saturday night.
Moderate (1.5 – 2.5 m) sea conditions with east north-easterly swells are across SVG… Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution… Wave heights could be rising again next week, in response to increased winds. Good visibility should continue into the weekend, with occasional thin-films of haze across SVG.
