Although the Atlantic High Pressure dominates, partly cloudy skies could become occasionally cloudy with possible showers; as instability associated with a trough to the north - west of our islands could dip across our area later today. Additionally, day-time heating and gently wind flow could increase possible thunderstorm activity. A tropical wave previously tracking westward, is expected to lose its energy (north-east of the islands due to Tropical Storm Ophelia) resulting in surface to low level shear-line across our islands late Wednesday with scattered showers into Thursday.
Variable light to gentle breeze overnight into early morning created warm and uncomfortable conditions. Generally moderate breeze from the south east should move in this afternoon; becoming easterly by Wednesday evening and occasionally fresh on Friday.
Slight haze could increase around Thursday, while the next Tropical wave is expected late Friday into Saturday with some showers, by that time a thinning out of hazy conditions is expected.
