The strong high pressure system in the Atlantic Ocean, will lead to a continuation of strong east north east to easterly winds, and adverse sea conditions during the next 72 hours. Low level cloud drifting along the trade wind flow will cause occasional cloudy skies and a few brief showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the remainder of the weekend. The chance of some showery activity is likely to increase as the new week progress due to an increase in mid level moisture.
Sea conditions across the islands remain rough with swells peaking near 3.5m. A High-Surf Advisory and a Small-Craft Warning remains in effect until 11:00am on Wednesday 15th January 2020. Sea-bathers are advised to stay out of the water. Small craft operators should remain in port.
There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
