Lingering moisture will result in occasional cloudy skies and some scattered showers this afternoon and tonight across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. After which, a few weak pulses embedded within the Atlantic high pressure system will generate a few occasional showers over the next couple of days.
Wind speeds will gradually decrease over the next couple of days, blowing predominantly from the east north east (ENE). Moderate breeze (30km/h -35km/h) today, will decrease to approximately 25km/h – 30km/h on Thursday. By Friday, a low is forecast to move eastward across the Atlantic, weakening the high pressure system, resulting in a further decrease in wind speeds (20km/h -30km/h).
Seas are to remain moderate to rough in open water (2.0m-3.0m), with a noticeable improvement on the east coast (2.5m) around Friday.
There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
